Meet the Staff
Claire Connors has worked at the Islington Branch Library since 2005. Claire runs the Islington Branch Book Group monthly, a bimonthly Book Share and a weekly Sit and Knit program. Her favorite books growing up were Johnny Tremaine, Nancy Drew and Little Women. She likes to find first time novelists and loves to recommend books to patrons. Outside of work Claire enjoys gardening, walking, yoga and knitting.
Caitlyn Moore has just started at the library. She just graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Childhood Studies. Caitlyn enjoys fiction and mystery books. A few favorite authors are JoJo Moyes, Liane Moriarty and Jodi Picoult. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and a good book.
Shirley DeFeo has worked for the Westwood Public Library for more than 15 years. She shares her time between the Main and Branch Libraries. Two of Shirley’s favorite books growing up were The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew by Dianne Namm, and The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher. Currently she likes to read JoJo Moyes and Kate Morton’s The Forgotten Garden. Shirley loved to skate and ski and loves to go to the beach. She also loves to talk, so stop by for a chat with Shirley!
Patti Wade has worked at Westwood Main Library and Islington Branch for two years. Prior to that she volunteered at the Main Library for seven years shelving in the children's room. She loves to read many genres but has a particular interest in non-fiction and historical fiction. An ideal day involves a long walk followed by a cup of Darjeeling tea and a good book.
Joyce Levine has worked at the Westwood Libraries for over 20 years. She has a love of both adult and children’s books, especially the classics. Some of her favorites include “To Kill a Mockingbird”, “Tell me a Mizi” and author Roald Dahl. Working at the Branch is especially fun because of its quaintness and getting to know the patrons. She is especially fond of the monthly Book Club.
