WPL 21st Century Fund
The Westwood Public Library 21st Century Fund, a non profit corporation, was established in 2006 to ensure the public library could provide an excellent level of services to the Westwood community. Its immediate objective was to raise funds for construction and furnishing of a new Main Library. Thanks to the generosity of town residents, businesses, and philanthropic foundations, the capital campaign exceeded its fund raising goal. In 2014, the 21st Century Fund was proud to make a substantial contribution to the Town towards the construction cost of our impressive new facility.
The Fund will continue to support the long-term goals of the Library now that the new building is constructed. The 21st Century Fund’s ongoing purpose is to grow an endowment for future programs and services and to make funds available currently for library materials, services, programs, and equipment that will allow the Library to serve as a cultural center of the community for current and future Westwood residents.
A gift to the Westwood Library can be made in many ways:
- Gifts of cash or stocks
