Islington Branch Book Group: This book group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Our members love to read and discuss the books selected each month. Historical Fiction Book Club: This book club meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 10:00 am. Discussions are lively and informal. Page to Screen Book Club: Join us at the Islington Branch to discuss books that have been turned into movies on the last Thursday of each month at 5:00 pm. Sit and Knit: Join us for a morning of knitting, crocheting, needlepointing, or hand quilting. Bring your projects and supplies with you. Sit and knit while enjoying the comfort of the library and check out a new knitting book or knitting mystery. We meet every Thursday morning from 10:oo to noon.
Night Knitting: Join us on the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM for a night full of conversation and knitting. Bring your projects and supplies with you.
Monday Drop-In Series: Join us for drop-in activities at the Islington Branch on Monday afternoons! We'll have activities for all ages and interests based on a rotation of themes. Check out the library calendar to see each week's theme.
Alphabits at the Branch: Join Miss Caitlyn at the Branch for a special alphabet-themed storytime! Each week, we will read stories, sing, and focus on a different letter! Join us each Monday from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
Tech Help Hours: We offer general troubleshooting of phones, tablets, and laptop computers. Help with library apps, databases, and websites. Staff cannot be held responsible for damage to patron-owned equipment. Call us at 781-326-5914 to register for a 45-minute appointment at the Islington Branch Library. Staff are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during these designated times for in-depth, one-on-one appointments.

at the Westwood Public Library!
The Library now offers Mobile Beacon 4G mobile hotspots. Internet service is provided on TMobile's 4G LTE network allowing library patrons access to high-speed internet service anywhere a cell phone signal can be received.
