Bookclubs
The Westwood Public Library Children's Department offers book clubs for all ages.
Share your enthusiasm for reading with other book lovers and join us for lively discussion, games, and snacks of course! In order to keep discussions manageable and enjoyable for all, space is limited in all bookclubs and registration is required. Email the Children's Department at wwdchildrens@gmail.com with any questions you have and sign up on the website. All clubs meet monthly between September and May. Please note, signing your child up for one date will sign them up for the year.
Book Explorers: A Book Club for 2nd and 3rd Graders
Join us one Friday per month @ 4 pm for this fun, in person book club. We will read a book, play games and do a fun craft or activity each month. Email Caitlyn Moore with any questions: cmoore@minlib.net and you can sign up through our calendar of events. Some books we have read in the past include :
MCBA BookClub for Kids in 4th-6th Grade
Join us one Tuesday per month @4pm for this in person book club dedicated to this year's Massachusetts Children's Book Award (MCBA) nominees. MCBA honors books that promote reading for pleasure among students in grades four through six. The Massachusetts Children's Book Award is sponsored by Salem State University and you can find the complete list for each year here.
Our bookclub will read, discuss and vote on our favorite title at the end of the year. Space is limited. Register on the website! Email Kristy (kpasquariello@minlib.net) or Felicia (fokeefe@minlib.net) with any questions.

Need WiFi on the go? Check out a Mobile Hotspot
at the Westwood Public Library!
The Library now offers Mobile Beacon 4G mobile hotspots. Internet service is provided on TMobile's 4G LTE network allowing library patrons access to high-speed internet service anywhere a cell phone signal can be received. Up to 10 devices can be connected, with unlimited data. Must be at least 18 years of age to check out a hotspot. Click here for additional information about borrowing hotspots.
